Build a subtle, elevated, authentic experience around the product to give it authenticity.
Visiting a museum exhibition sets a tone of authenticity for souvenirs in the gift shop. When facing this project, I set expectations to create the same feeling. In order to understand and empathize with our users, I held a brainstorming session with management, stakeholders & engineers. This not only got us all into the creative mindset, but it set expectations for the final product.
